I founded IAM101 through personal practices that saved my life, and now IAM ready to share with you.
At my lowest point, I was trying to save my failing business and marriage, after a spinal injury had left me deeply depressed about my future life. I became addicted to drugs and alcohol just to get through the days which resulted in my broken family. I had no sense of self-worth, I was $600,000 dollars in debt and spent many days on end not being able to get out of bed.
I kept asking myself, what is wrong with me? And it wasn’t until I changed that around to “what is right with me”, that I was able to really make changes in my life that pushed me towards a life that was actually worth living.
In my darkest hours, I was ready to end it all. Now it is all about putting in the hard work every day and relearning my own uniqueness which had been squashed by outdated education and workplace cultures that we have all been exposed to.
IAM so passionate about IAM101 because I hate thinking that others are going through the journey that I had experienced every day and feeling lost and isolated with no support.
Through IAM101, our mentoring program, IAM Work Ready has naturally developed, creating an avenue to directly connect with candidates in the construction industry and share valuable insights that enhance both the workers' experience and contribute to the overall success of our partners.
This cultural shift is invaluable, benefiting not only the workers but also allowing business owners to witness the positive transformation of their dedicated and enthusiastic workforce.
